MANAGE YOUR MONEY (Money Is Never Enough)

MANAGE YOUR MONEY (Looks like money is never enough)
Have you ever wondered why money is never enough, why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer? The fact remains that irrespective of your social class (rich or poor); one will continue to desire or look for money.

I came across these words one day and it really got me thinking:
“If you will ever build wealth, you need to spend less than you earn. You need to discipline yourself and exercise self-control”          Pastor Sam Adeyemi (evaluate the quote, not personality)
It’s obvious that money is never enough: the more you have; the more you want to spend, and the more you want to spend; the more you want to replace. We all have default setting or nature to spend money; we don’t learn it. Even a child, once he or she comes to know or gets to the stage of identifying his or her physical needs, the child either asks the parent for them or for money to get them. Money is like the exchange currency everyone requires to get their physical lack or want.

But, every individual ought to learn how to manage their money or resources in life, through self-discipline and self-control. Just like Pastor Sam Adeyemi’s quote, you will discover that most rich people discipline themselves in order not to go down (become poor), while the poor also do the same, to build wealth or change their financial status (become rich).

The moment anyone in any of these social class lack these two factors or qualities, they suddenly meet themselves in an undesired state (either poor or poorer), but not rich.
“You can become poor overnight, but, you cannot become rich overnight”
The guys you see at the top class or that are wealthy, did not get there over the night. It took a lot of patience and process: am not taking about politicians, those who impoverish the society or those rich kids who woke up to meet wealth. This is why you see those who made wealth overnight or in a dubious way (like money ritual or fraudsters), it does not take long for them to return to their original position or status.

It can be said that self-discipline and self-control brings the culture of “saving”. Always save a certain percentage of your income irrespective of your expenses, needs or lack. Because, it will definitely help you someday: to invest, take care of unseen circumstance or whatever. When you understand this, it will help you not to blame anyone for your financial actions or status.

For Christians or religious folks, God will not come down to help you manage your money or resources, but he can give you wisdom to do so. Stop giving legit excuses of your income not being enough: after removing your tithes, offering, alms, expenses, giving and other important stuff. Always save a certain percent of your income.

I think this was what a some folks, parents and leaders understood earlier in life. Saving is key for wealth building and done by people who have discipline and control over themselves”, as money is never enough. Study more and research on “how to manage your money or resources” or “how to discipline yourself” as this is just a tip of the ice-berg.

  1. Very nice piece. Thanks for this, but I will like you to also emphasize on saving to invest cz money saved can never increase but money invested will definitely increase, so as much as one has to save, one must also bear it in mind to invest with it,once there is an opening... Since it's thoughts for thoughts, I felt I could also drop mine too, lol. Keep up d good work sir

    1. True sir, feel free to say your mind.
The most relevant problem now is doing invest with little money. because the big guys will definitely prefer to invest in real estate, shares and others.
there is hardly a legit business to invest little money into.

On the issue of saving and investing, i think one has to find the balance himself. Both are important
      Thank You.
